Danube River
The Danube was once a long-standing frontier of the Roman Empire, and today flows through 10 countries, more than any other river in the world. Originating in Germany, the Danube flows southeast for 2,860 km (1,780 mi), passing through or touching the border of Austria, Slovakia, Hungary, Croatia, Serbia, Romania, Bulgaria, Moldova and Ukraine before emptying into the Black Sea.
Sava River
The Sava is located in Southeast Europe, flowing through Slovenia, Croatia, Serbia and along the Bosnia-Herzegovina border. Its total length is 990 kilometres (615 miles), including the 45-kilometre (28 mi) Sava Dolinka and the 945-kilometre (587 mi) Sava proper. As a right tributary of the Danube, the river belongs to the Black Sea drainage basin.

The best bridges are located on the river Sava. One of the most beautiful is the Bridge on Ada (Most na Adi), which you will be able to see from the most beautiful perspective from the boat. They also shine at night, so you have the opportunity to enjoy the most magnificent cruise at night, where you will be delighted by the lights of the bridges as well as the city itself.

Kalemegdan Fortress
Belgrade Fortress, better known as Kalemegdan, consists of the old citadel (Upper and Lower Town) and Kalemegdan Park (Large and Little Kalemegdan) on the confluence of the rivers Sava and Danube. The fortress was declared a Monument of Culture of Exceptional Importance in 1979, and it's the most visited tourist attraction in Belgrade.
Great War Island
Great War Island is located at the mouth of the Sava river into the Danube, in the Danube's widening between the Kalemegdan fortress. There are 66 bird species which actually nest on the island, 43 non-migratory and 23 migratory birds. In winter, during the nesting period, there are some 80 species present, while in the migration season, number rises to over 100. Altogether, 163 different bird species inhabits the island.
